This course comprises over 2 hours of content broken down into 18 lessons that delve into the impact of nutrition, exercise, sleep, stress, and screen time on weight. The lessons cover the scientific principles behind weight gain and eating habits and provide practical tools to make long-lasting changes. By enrolling in this course, you will be equipped with the necessary knowledge and tools to implement and sustain your weight loss journey. Our lesson guides offer practical tips and guidance for achieving lasting success.

Special topics covered include discussing change with your child, talking to teens about body image and weight, and navigating weight plateaus. There are also additional lessons on children with ADHD, PCOS, developmental delays, and physical disabilities.

About Your Instructor

Dr. Meade graduated from The University of North Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed her Pediatric Residency and Pediatric Endocrinology Fellowship at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine.

During her pediatric endocrinology training, Dr. Meade focused her attention on metabolic disease and complications associated with pediatric obesity. After fellowship she started integrating complementary medicine into her conventional practice. Since then she has dedicated over ten years to the study of nutrition, integrative medicine, and obesity medicine. In addition to providing educational materials through The Meade Institute, she currently sees patients in-person and via tele-health from Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Dr. Meade is board certified in obesity medicine, pediatric endocrinology and pediatrics. She is currently working on completing certification by the Academy of Pediatric Integrative Medicine.
